Who is Amate Experiences?

Amate Experiences seeks to be the bridge between Yucatan, its culture, its roots, and travelers looking for something more than a conventional trip, those looking to enjoy the experience of becoming just another local. Through experiences designed by local people, your trip will become a true adventure of a lifetime.

Can I reserve the day before?

For organizational reasons, all reservations must be confirmed at least 24 hours before the start of the experience. It is not possible to book an experience less than 24 hours in advance.

What happens if I booked and can't live the experience?

Amate Experiences does not issue refunds. However, if for some reason you will not be able to live the experience, it is possible to change the date and reschedule the experience for another day. If you cannot attend, send an email to experiences@casaamate.com at least 48 hours before the day of your reservation. It will not be possible to change the date of your experience less than 48 hours before your reservation. The new reservation must be scheduled within 90 days of the original reservation. After this time, it will no longer be possible to reschedule.

What do I have to bring?

Each experience has a full description with all the necessary information the travel needs to get ready for the experience.

Do I have to tip?

Tipping is not mandatory. However, we do invite our customers to leave a tip if they are happy and satisfied with the service.

If I can't live the experience, can I give it to someone else?

Yes, it is possible to transfer your reservation to another person. To do so, send an email to experiences@casaamate.com at least 48 hours before your reservation. Please specify the name of the reservation, name and day of the experience and name and email of the new recipient. The new reservation must be scheduled within 90 days of the original reservation. After this time, it will no longer be possible to reschedule.
